Iran's women's basketball move up 26 places: FIBA rankings

TEHRAN - Iran's women's basketball team moved up 26 places to 52nd in the latest FIBA women's world rankings released on Thursday.

The top five teams remained unchanged and the U.S. continue to lead the rankings.

Iran achieved a stellar rise of 26 places to 52nd after moving to 135 points after they made the title game of the FIBA Women’s Asia Cup Division B 2023 in Bangkok.
